Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: August 2026

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) governs your use of Rifly’s products and services, including our AI music generation tools and any AI-generated content features (the “Services”). It forms part of our Terms of Service. By using the Services you agree not to engage in, or enable others to engage in, the prohibited activities below.

1. Prohibited content

You may not create, upload, generate, or distribute content that:

  • Is unlawful, or promotes or facilitates illegal activity.
  • Sexually exploits or endangers minors, or constitutes child sexual abuse material (CSAM). We report such material to the appropriate authorities.
  • Is non-consensual intimate imagery, or sexual content depicting real, identifiable people without consent.
  • Incites or threatens violence, self-harm, terrorism, or promotes hateful conduct against people based on protected characteristics.
  • Harasses, bullies, defames, or violates the privacy or publicity rights of others.
  • Infringes intellectual-property rights — including uploading MIDI, melodies, lyrics, or other material you do not have the rights to use — or misappropriates trade secrets or confidential information.

2. Prohibited uses of AI tools

You may not use our AI-enabled tools to:

  • Generate deceptive deepfakes or voice clones, impersonate real individuals or artists, or create content intended to defraud, deceive, or manipulate (including disinformation and fake endorsements).
  • Produce spam, bulk unsolicited messaging, or content for coordinated inauthentic behaviour.
  • Create malware, exploits, phishing pages, or tools designed to gain unauthorised access to systems or data.
  • Generate content that facilitates the creation of weapons, dangerous goods, or other activities posing a high risk of physical harm.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, extract, or circumvent model safeguards, rate limits, or usage restrictions.

3. Prohibited technical conduct

  • Interfering with, overloading, or disrupting the Services or associated infrastructure.
  • Accessing the Services through unauthorised means — including sharing or misusing API keys — or probing, scanning, or testing their security without permission.
  • Reselling, sublicensing, or providing the Services to third parties except as expressly permitted.
  • Using automated means to abuse free tiers, trials, or promotional offers.

4. Your responsibilities

You are responsible for the content you submit and generate, and for ensuring your use complies with all applicable laws and third-party rights. AI-generated outputs may be inaccurate or may resemble existing works; you must review outputs before relying on or publishing them.

5. Enforcement

We may investigate suspected violations and may remove content, throttle, suspend, or terminate access without notice where we reasonably believe this policy has been breached, and may report unlawful activity to the relevant authorities.

6. Reporting abuse

To report a violation of this policy, email [email protected].
